HAVE A HEART - BOYCOTT ISRAELI PRODUCTS
TRADER JOE’S CONSUMERS TAKE ACTION
FOR PALESTINIAN RIGHTS
Inspired by the struggle of South Africans against apartheid and the solidarity of the international community in the form of boycott, divestment, and sanctions campaigns (BDS), Palestinian civil society organizations have called on the world to say no to Israeli apartheid. Omar Barghouti, founding member of the Palestinian BDS Committee states: |
When: Every Other Sunday Next Date: 14 March 2010 Where: Trader Joes (Uptown) Time: 12:00pm-2:00pm PLEASE JOIN US, The NM Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions Committee, in our on-going de-shelving campaign of Israeli consumer products at Trader Joe’s in Albuquerque (Uptown). We will join hands again on Sunday, 28th February, 12:00pm to 2:00pm. Palestinians everywhere have reached the conclusion that without the support of people of conscience around the world we cannot hope to prevail over Israeli injustice, colonial oppression and apartheid. As in the South African anti-apartheid struggle, your boycott of products of companies that benefit from our oppression is among the most moral and effective forms of solidarity you can offer. We deeply appreciate that solidarity. |
Please join us in this act of solidarity with the Palestinian people by saying NO to Israeli Apartheid, NO to Colonization and Ethnic Cleansing by SUPPORTING Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions! For More Information Contact Lori Rudolph, lorir@unm.edu
